It’s a damn shame … says he shot himself in the chest.

We need to pay attention to those around us because you can never really know the deep depression and pain that would make someone do this. We are all the same and yet some of us cope with things that cut us deeply.

In those times it is the outstretched hand that saves them from themselves. What goes around comes around, or pay it forward however you look at life we are all connected.

Job 2:11-13

When Job’s three friends, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite, heard about all the troubles that had come upon him, they set out from their homes and met together by agreement to go and sympathize with him and comfort him. When they saw him from a distance, they could hardly recognize him; they began to weep aloud, and they tore their robes and sprinkled dust on their heads. Then they sat on the ground with him for seven days and seven nights. No one said a word to him, because they saw how great his suffering was. 

Whether you are religious or not, whether you believe in a higher being or not, it doesn’t change the fact we have a responsibility to reach out to those around us.
